I've been meaning for ages to update the printed guide books - The Tasmanian Climbing Guide (the black one), The Mountain, Freycinet, and the Tasmanian Bouldering Guide.
For various reasons, mainly that I lost a lot of the files, and that I had to write a bunch of new code to deal with the new online topos, this has been on hold.
But I've finally got the PDF generation working again, and updated it to work with the new topos. I'm aiming to get the new PDFs to print quality early next year.
Editing and feedback will help with this, so here's the very first draft of the TCG for anyone who has time to proof read:

Draft 2:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1341356/TasmanianClimbingGuide%2020141028.pdf
(Warning: 120mb, 580 pages!)
Stuff that needs attention is:
- General wording, grammar and spelling. There's always more typos to fix
- New guides (Eldon, Table Mt, Dog Leg Crag, Apsely Edge, Red Rock Pt, Mersey Cliffs etc)
- Reordering of Organ Pipes to L to R
- New topos
Either fix it straight on thesarvo.com, or post corrections in the comments of this page
This first draft is pretty rough, here's my list of known issues:
- Lots of layout issues (eg wrong whitespace, columns, topos wrong size or rotation etc). I need to go through the whole thing and fix what I can
- Some pages have color blocks out of place
- No section headings (eg East, North etc) in the TOC, header, or tabs
- Freycinet topos needs redrawing in the new format (now done except for star factory)
- Bare rock topos need redrawing
- Topos
Some text isn't being truncated or word wrapped- Missing arrow heads
dark "dots" in the dark glow around lines - eg on Alchemy Wall topoSome topos being layed out too wide

Hey John, good work getting the ball rolling with a big update! I've gone ahead and changed a couple of minor spelling mistakes etc, but i've got a couple of questions that hopefully someone can shed some light on;
Freycinet - Harlequin Buttress - Bokonon Topo- Shouldn’t the topo line start way off to the right of Ice Nine? Or is that a different climb? The current topo shows it as a sort of variant to the top of Ice Nine, which I dont think is right...maybe it is!? (i would change the topo myself, but A- i'm not sure if im right, and B- i dont know how anyway!)
pg 173 - Bare Rock - Topo legend reads “faggus” and route description below reads “fagus”. which one is it?
Cheers

Thanks Zach, I'm part way through redoing the freycinet topos in the new format - Bokonon should be updated.
On the Bare Rock one I'm presuming the text is correct, so I probably need to fix that one too
