The monsoons are now starting. Not only will this add to the hardship and suffering of the recent earthquakes, but in just a few weeks, it will make it impossible to reach and deliver aid to remote villages – including many that have yet to receive relief.

Please join us this Thursday 4 June to learn more about the situation, to hear how you can help and to connect with the Nepalese community in Hobart.

The evening will feature stories, images and cultural performances. With performance and support from Nepalese students, stunning slides from Grant Dixon and heartfelt stories of hope amidst the damage, including a live-cross to our Nepal team, this promises to be a memorable and moving evening.

This event will help fund the 500 shelters and relief supplies we need to get to earthquake damaged remote villages.

The event will feature:
* Tents4Peace founder Anna Crotty
* Aarati Khanal, Nepalese PhD student
* Nepalese cultural performance
* Dr Edi Albert, Associate Professor, Remote and Polar Medicine
* Photos by Tasmanian photographer Grant Dixon
* Dr Tom Baxter as MC

Funds raised will support Tents4peace Nepal and the Nepali based Himalayan Social Foundation-HSF.

Nepalese food available thanks to Kathmandu Cuisine.

The event is being hosted by the University of Tasmania School of Business and Economics.

So please book, share and spread the word.
