    Fallen rock remains in bush above Pinnacle Rd on Mt Wellington ALICE CLARIDGE MERCURY JULY 09, 2014 4:13PM   Workers checking out … Alderman Jeff Briscoe said a geologist was on site today to determine if the huge rock was potentially dangerous. The road reopened to traffic this afternoon.

    visual impact of any anchors, including those put in for protection. I'd be very happy to see all anchors on the Pipes painted to blend in with the rock … the better. I'm all for keeping climbing (rock) climbing routes clear of vegetation  but am very happy for the vegetation to grow up between them - and not get damaged

Exposed climbing up the arête and wall to belay on a fin of rock. Descent: Rap from fin (sling, 12m) back to the 2nd belay
