Beginners Rock Climbing Group on NW Coast
This is my first post so a big hello to everyone. I have a question. I would like to do some rock climbing and I was wondering if anyone knows … hands on experience with outdoor rock climbing and rope work. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. From the chessboard to Rock of Ages is now marked with stakes and red and white tape. Hopefully this more permanent track marking will create a decent pad the more people use it. The steep wall on the far right hand side of Bare Rock has produced another outstanding new route. Fairies Wear Boots, 45m (27) has been put up by Ingvar Lidman from Natimuk. Just a heads up that Bare Rock, Fingal is closed for the nesting season. Lots of new routes went up again this season. I personally had a great season up there and can't wait for it to open up again.
