Loose bolt on the Sapphire Rose
Hi all, Just a heads up for anyone heading to Bare Rock. We were on the Sapphire Rose on Saturday and noticed that the first bolt in the traverse on P1 has a very loose nut and hanger. We didn't have anything to tighten it with so its still only finger tight. There are good small/medium cam placements in the overlapVisiting American climber looking to climb Nov 18-20
Heyo! I’ll be in Hobart Nov 18-20 with a rack, a rope and lots of climbing psych! No car at the moment but I would be willing to get a rental. Anybody willing to show a visitor some local rock (cape Raoul looks awesome!)? I’m 28, have been climbing for about 10 years and lead up to about 25 on gear. Happy to climbSOLD: Entre Prises hangboard for sale: $50
It's a hangboard. For rock-climbing training. Used. 1000 mm wide; 170 mm high. Mega jugs, mono, bi and tri doigts, slopes, pinches and edges. In other words all the fun things. Old style, so perhaps not so "ergonomically" (or politically) correct. See attached photos. Collection only. Call 0407 310 287Looking for a climbing partner - hobart
I'll be in Hobart for the next month. I'm pretty keen to do some gym climbing after work and do a few weekend trips on rock while I'm here. I've got draws, trad gear and a rope. I climb low 20's I suppose. Hit me up if you're keen to some climbing! contact 0401780339 Cheers, Cam favourite favourite favouriteClimbing partner wanted

There is a bolted route here (grade 15 with variant 19 and is 3 pitches) just wondering what the route was like? Is there any other routes there? I was thinking of heading there on weekend but concerned about possible seepage from the rock at this time of year and just generally wondering if it is worth doingFlickr Group
I've created a Flickr group "Historic Tasmanian Rock Climbs and Climbers" as a repository for all those old images you have that might just clutter up the galleries on this fine site a little too much. Please feel free to join and add your stuff. You should find it at this URLBooty on Barbi de vendetta
Alas... I couldn't get TWO of my hexes out at the first belay of Barbi de vendetta up at The Ben, on Saturday. Never before have I left booty behind! Coercion from a nut-tool and a Sigg bottle weren't sufficient :( So take a rock with you if you're heading up the route... Migrated to Confluence 4.0used climbing shoes
Hi every one Im trying to get a hold off quite a few climbing shoes to donate to the schools for when they go climbing out side etc. The main problem being is that its hard for students to climb on rock with such big shoes. Any sizes welcome. thanks Garry May be a good drop off point could be Macpac
