Metolius Ropemaster rope bag. Inspired by the spawning of Pacific Salmon.

FORTY DOLLARS

Yes, I know. People would wonder what they might be getting - obviously even more so that with hardware. However, anyone who knows me will vouch for the fact that I've always looked after my gear well.
Along with these ropes I have two Metolius Ropemaster rope bags/tarps, three basic tarps and a full bottle of rope wash to give away to anyone willing to pay a reasonable price for any of the ropes. SOLD
So, to the ropes in question. I have five two ropes left for sale. All Both of them are 60 metres long.
Two of them - a matched pair of 60 metre 8.5 mm Mammut half ropes - are nearly brand new, in fact they still smell new. Dianne and I picked them up on arrival in France for our last climbing trip to Europe in mid-2014. We used them for climbing about ten multi-pitch granite slab at Ailefroide. No fall were taken on these ropes. We packed them up and brought them home and then I had my accident. They have been stored in the dark since then. I would prefer to sell them as a pair if possible.  SOLD

Inspection by appointment only, and only by parties seriously interested. Please don't waste my time or yours.
If you are seriously interested you can contact me on 0407 310 287 or at douglascharlesbruceatgmaildotcom. Get in touch to have a look and make an offer.

Here are some photos:

The two remaining ropes are singles. One of them is a Stirling bi-colour, dry 9 mm rope for light and fast climbing or going for that elusive redpoint. It has been used more than the two half ropes but not a lot. It has not sustained any falls. Pictures:

The fourth rope is a Mammut 10 mm rope that I tended to use for sport and trad on the mountain where I could get off with 30 metre or under raps. It has been used quite a lot more than the three ropes above but has only taken a few short falls - no big whippers.
Photo of it in its rope bag: SOLD

The final rope was my workhorse for climbing in the quarries and at the gym. It is a 10 mm bi-colour Mammut and remains in good condition. I would still be using as my day-to-day training rope or as a project rope if I were still climbing.
Photo in the rope in its bag. THIS ROPE CAN BE HAD FOR $45 Come and take a look if you want a rope you can beat up a bit at the quarries or the gym.

The two rope bags are Metolius Ropemasters. Brilliant rope bags, probably the best around (except for the newer version which will cost you a lot of money)
My favourite is the fish bag.

FORTY DOLLARS EACH.
