ON Tuesday(Jan 12th), after going into town for a rest day, 7 cams were stolen out of my tent by persons unknown. The description of the gear is as follows: 2 C-3's sizes 1 and 2, 2 Camalot cams sizes 3 and 4, and lastly 3 omega link cams sizes .5, .75, and 2.
I am absolutely gutted from this happening and am blown away that it could occur in such a remote location. Our tent was hidden far away behind the Carra Villa Hut but obviously this wasn't hidden well enough. I've been 3 months on the road and this totally derails my future climbing plans. Bummed.

Please everyone be cautious about where you leave your gear and keep your eyes open if you see someone trying to pawn off any link cams on the internet.

Hello! My partner and I are here from America and have been traveling and climbing through Tassie and the mainland for a few weeks. This is our last day in Tassie and we'd love to climb Mt. Wellington. Unfortunately we only have one 60m rope and we've read and heard that 2 ropes are required for rappels. If anyone would like to meet up to climb today we'd be psyched to climb w/a local who knows the Mt. Wellington climbs. We are staying at a motel in Glenorchy. I've got 2 older style (the model before the C4 but still single stem) Camalots for sale. Both work
prefectly and the lobes aren't worn out. I'm just being brutal about selling stuff i don't use much. Either
$50 each or both for $80- . They are the #0.5, and #0.75 sizes. (I'm in Hobart)

I have a Kong 'Slit Fit' size 0 cam for sale. $30. It has been placed about 5 times, never fallen on. Selling as it's no longer needed.
