As a preamble, the gear that I am selling is all in good condition. Some of it is has been around for a while - quite a while in some instances - but it has all been looked after well. None of the cams or wires have frayed bits. Slung nuts have had their slings replaced periodically as needed. Quickdraw dogbones are all in good condition as are any slings that are listed. People who know me will attest that I look after my gear well and dispose of anything that is dodgy. I've tried to price everything reasonably in the hope that I won't have to field endless offers.  However, if you have any general questions or think I'm wildly optimistic about the worth of any items please contact me on douglascharlesbruceatgmaildotcom. If you're genuinely interested in a particular item and want a closer look I can send more detailed pictures if you don't live locally. Just send me your email address.

Any gear that is not sold locally will be subject to postage to be paid by the purchaser.

Metolius Curved Nuts

RP's ALL SOLD

20 Miscellaneous Wires (mostly Wild Country Rocks)

Nuts on Cord

BD Hexes on Spectra

(these were on wire but I cut off the wire as soon as I bought them and replaced with Spectra, which I prefer to handle. This is the second lot of Spectra on each of the pieces.)

Wild Country Super Rocks on static cord (plus one miscellaneous nut) ALL SOLD

Beautiful nuts: great to place and absolutely bombproof, a nice counterpoint at times to cams and wires; $10 each; any 3 for $25; $30 for the lot

Camp Tricams Only two left: one each of the red and pink

Brilliant protection in small pockets, especially on horizontal cracks like those on the Watchtower Faces at Mt Arapiles or on granite seams like those at Coles Bay, Squamish or that minor crag in California ...

$10 each or $80 for the lot

Quickdraws

All (except two) with either Petzl Spirit Bent gate or Wild Country Oxygen bent gate biners on the clipping end. Longer draws have Petzl Spirit straight gate biners on the bolt end. Shorter draws (actually medium length) mostly have lightweight Edelrid biners, which I have always liked. There is one long draw with a DMM Revolver biner and one short draw (not shown) with a Revolver biner. (If you want to buy a new Revolver biner in Australia, go to Bongong Equipment in Melbourne. It will cost you $58 a pop.) Those draws are $30 each, otherwise:

$17 each; 3 for $45; 6 for $85

Extendable Quickdraws

There are actually 7 of these but only 6 of them got into the photo (the other one was hiding). $15 each; 3 for $40 or all 7 for $85

Miscellaneous biners

There are 36 of these. Everything from a couple of beautiful, weightless Climbing Technology biners to BD Livewire biners to hoary old Bonatti Kong biners and plenty in between. If you know you're climbing gear you'll know what you're looking at. Prices range from $5 to $10. Open to offers on bunches. Make  bid and I'll make a call, I just can't be bothered working out package pricing for this mixed bag.

Screw gate biners

$8 each apart from the Revolver screw gate which is in nearly mint condition and I'm selling for $25

Petzl GriGri

Hardly used: a few times outdoors and a few more - but not many - than a few times in the Black Hole of Calcutta (read climbing gym)

$75

Loose Slings

60 cms and 120 cms. Three of the shorter ones are knotted, all the rest are sewn.

No discrimination here: $5 each

Petzl Spatha Knives

~ locking, lightweight, fits on a carabiner, handy for cutting loose your partner when required. I - or should I say "we" - have two of these. One for my long-suffering wife to set me free, and one for me to put her out of her misery. Hasn't come to that ... yet ...

$20 each or $35 for the pair (in case you, too, have a pair)

BD Hollowpoint Pack

20 litre capacity. Tough. You can haul this sucker and it won't rip apart.

$35

... and that's all. For the moment.
