A few references to thesarvo.com have been popping up as the word gets out.

Roger's note about Craglets going online is in the latest Rock, and the Mt Brown topo by Garry and me made it into the new Crux.

Expect more poms after a write up of Freycinet: http://blog.rockrun.com/2008/05/x-file-2-tasmania-freycinet-peninsula.html

And a small mention in Action Asia: http://www.actionasia.com/actionasia/Articles/index.jsp?aid=3368

  1. nice work Jon.
and thanks for all the tireless work you have done on this site.
it looks like the rest of the world is starting to notice it too.

has the load on the thesarvo site increased much since shaglets has been online?

nice work on that by the way. it looks tops!

...though some would credit much of the topo's awesomeness to the incredible talent of the actual photographer... but i would just credit it to the gorgeous afternoon light.

by the way, do you know where the two direct start pitches go in? i can mark them on a photo if you like. they really are a better way to do the route! (though i've only been on the LH one).

just make sure you aren't clipped in hard to the very bottom belay when a monster wave comes through, which (i heard on the grapevine) happened to some fool not too long ago.

Apologies, thought the photo was by Garry. Yep if you can draw those two pitches for me I will add them in.
