Hey guys,

I'm looking for climbing courses or instructors in Tassie to learn the basics of climbing for a group of three people. I've been doing alot of googling and can't find much on the net at all, other than a course with World Expeditions. I've also tried emailing the Tasmanian Climbing Instructors Association asking for advice, but never got a reply.

My question - Is there anyone in Tas that teaches Climbing???

I'm quite desperate to give it a shot, as are my friends. Can someone give me a bit of advice? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

     The secretary of TCIA is overseas climbing at the moment, but you should be able to contact the President, Steve Cameron, at president@tcia.asn.au  and he should be able to point you in the right direction.  If no joy, give me a phone on 0448693630.

    Thanks alot Tony, that helps alot. I've got in touch with the TCIA now which have given me some suggestions. Looks like August would be the closest time. If anyone out there knows an instructor that wants to make some extra cash over July I'd be very interested.
