Someone has kindly offered to donate an old 10.1 mm climbing rope for use as a hand line (e.g. Bruny Aviary) or for a similar purpose where suitable.  Please let me know if you need something and I will put you into contact with them. Cheers.

    Agree that the handline at the Aviary needs replacement - the current version (used to be green; is now white!) is at least 2 years old

    Just checking re Aviary handline.  is the line in question the one from bottom of gully to across slabs? If so, I thought Ben had replaced that before he went away.

      Yeah, that's the one. He may well have done since I posted, but when we were there in early-mid March it was still the (now very bleached) one I put in 2 or 3 years ago. It looked like the one at the base of the routes was newer though. 

      If anyone is heading out there any time soon, I can certainly furnish some rope....
