  3. New Routes from NY

A couple of new routes from our recent Tassie Trip Tasman Peninsula The Swell Repeller 55m 24 sport Two pitches of stunning arêtes and all bolts. 4. Re: Candlestick - looking for beta

One more question for those in the know - If whoever leads the swim sets up up a tryolean at the bottom so that the rest of the party can avoid getting wet, do you need to swing across to the Totem pole and use the bolts at the base of the free route, or are there other bolts somewhere at the bottom of the cliff

Fingal (Bone Yard) Star factory (lots of hard and good routes have gone up since the last edition).  Routes on the ben (adams 28  and yours on the southern end)  Tyndalls (witch craft, live the life and How hard can it be) Cape Raoul  Dougs and Deanos route on the Totem Pole  White Water
  7. Re: The Candle Stick

Thats what I think because a 60m static is just enough for the totem pole.  A 60m dynamic is ok because it stretches.   So The description needs up dating on thesarvo as well as in Gerrys guide. I think you need a 70m for the candle stick or alternately join your lead line to the rap line and make the swim

Has anyone done the crack on the mainland directly where you rap off the totem pole rings down to the ledge at the base? It looks like a decent crack climb, I'd guess around grade 18-20 with fist crack off the ledge thinning to hands and fingers at the top and maybe something harder about half way up. It seems
