I had a call from Brian Proudlock yesterday, who was one of the founding members of the CCT and keen to chat about its history.

According to Deano's circular reference here: CCT Circulars Reference the CCT was founded in 1964 or 65? Which means the 50th anniversary is coming up in the next year or two.

Brian has most of the original material produced by the CCT - circulars and magazines, which I will try and scan any of the stuff missing from the library/archives, and is keen to catch up with anybody from that period.

    That'd be great! Be awesome to have a collection of the old adventures that used to be had, re-igniting the passion for trad climbing that is slowly being pushed aside by those with the desire for convenience at any cost!
