Hi there,

Can anyone tell me how much space the camping area near White Water Walls has, and how full it gets in January? It seems that Richardsons Beach and the commercial camp grounds book out months in advance, but is it safe to plan on being able to turn up at Whitewater/Bluestone Bay and find a spot?

 

Also, I've heard that it's a 4WD track to get there, but many 2WDs would handle it... Can anyone comment on whether a Ford Falcon would do ok there?

    The campsite is never full and I've seen VW minis in there before, just drive slow and you'll be fine.

    There is also the River and Rocks Campground as an alternative. Some distance from WWW, but pleasant. (BTW, I have seen the camping area at WWW heaving in the holiday period but it seems to quieten down afterwards. Unfortunately it has become know amongst four wheel drive circles and they sometimes turn up with their generators.
